Du concret vers l'immatériel

Du concret vers l’immatériel is a large-scale immersive projection and sound experience created by La Cargaison in 2025 to celebrate both the universality of art and the 50-year career of painter Roger Alexandre. Presented inside the Saint-Jean-l’Évangéliste Cathedral with 14 projectors, the 25-minute show combined 2D and 3D animation, architectural mapping, synchronized lighting, original music, and narration to transform the cathedral into a living canvas.
Beyond the central projection, the experience extended into the cathedral’s confessionals with five interactive installations, including one VR piece, three custom video game experiences, a listening station, and an exhibition. I contributed to the creation of a few of the animations and worked alongside Louis-Philippe Tardif to completely redesign the projector setup and template, adapting the mapping to a new technical configuration.
